Terms & Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of IndieDevBoard, a web-based project management and productivity platform, operated by Sai Y, Munich, Germany. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid email address and verify it to use the service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian, who assumes responsibility for the account and its usage.
• One person may not maintain more than one free account

3. Service Description

IndieDevBoard provides the following features depending on your subscription plan:

• Project management with kanban boards and progress tracking
• Image and 3D model asset management
• Design document editor and notebook with wiki links
• Moodboard canvas for visual planning
• Presentation builder with PDF export and shareable links
• GitHub integration: two-way issue sync and repository browser (commits, pull requests, branches)
• Team collaboration with real-time chat and invitations
• Milestone tracking and task management

4. Subscription Plans & Payment

• Free plan: Limited features at no cost
• Starter plan: €4.99/month — more projects and storage for solo creators
• Pro plan: €9.99/month — all features unlocked for individual use
• Solo Dev plan: €19.99/month — GitHub integration and team collaboration for up to 2 users
• Indie Team plan: €49.99/month — full team collaboration for up to 5 users
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe Inc.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled
• You can cancel at any time through the billing page; access continues until the end of the billing period
• Prices are in EUR and include applicable VAT

5. Free Trial

New users may receive a free trial period for paid plans. During the trial, you have full access to the selected plan's features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged automatically. Each user is entitled to one free trial only.

6. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

As a consumer within the EU, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day of contract conclusion.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g., email to support@indiedevboard.com). You can also use the billing page to cancel your subscription immediately.

If you have already used paid features during the withdrawal period, you may be charged proportionally for the services rendered.

7. Your Content & Intellectual Property

• You retain all rights to content you upload (images, models, documents, text)
• You grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content solely to provide the service
• You must not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• You must not upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• We may remove content that violates these terms without prior notice

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Circumvent plan limits or usage restrictions

9. Third-Party Integrations

• IndieDevBoard integrates with third-party services including GitHub and Stripe
• When you connect your GitHub account, you authorize IndieDevBoard to access your repositories and issues on your behalf via the GitHub API
• Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies
• We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services
• You can disconnect third-party integrations at any time in your Settings

10. Availability & Liability

• We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
• We are not liable for data loss caused by circumstances beyond our control
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, to the extent permitted by German law
• This limitation does not apply to liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health

11. Account Termination

• You can delete your account at any time via Profile settings
• Upon deletion, all your data (projects, images, models, notes, messages) will be permanently removed
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Active subscriptions will be cancelled upon account deletion

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Registered users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer within the EU, you also benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence. The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
